I have fried the motherboard with hard power offs one too many times. Now it crashes when the wi-fi is turned on. Hopefully I can work around it by using a USB wi-fi adapter or another quick fix, but it will likely need new hardware in any case. The last time I did major shopping for PC parts was back in 2021. Maybe it's just time. I still need more money though before I splurge on good parts. Meanwhile I will try to make do with what I have currently, or revive my mothballed file server to use as a temporary daily driver.
